Photo: Imo State Set To Unveil The Tallest Statue Of Jesus Christ In Africa

The 28 feet statue, Jesus De Greatest, which will be the fifth tallest statue in Africa, will be unveiled at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in the Abajah local government area of Imo state, on January 1, 2016. The statue was funded and offered to the church by Obinna Onuoha, founder of Premier Petroleum Limited.
According to a statement signed by Onuoha's rep, the statue has a total weight of 40 tons and is made of marble. Onuoha, an indigene of Abajah, and a devout catholic, is a graduate of York St. Johns University in the United Kingdom and the Harvard Business School

3 year old Olanrewaju Babalola Obazua was abducted from his home at 5 John Ladipo Street, Apapa, Lagos on Saturday 21st November. His mother last sighted him playing with other children at about 6pm and only stepped inside for some minutes before he went missing. He has not been seen since then. 15 month old baby found alone in a home several days after her grandmother died

Authorities say a toddler was found alone in a Tennessee home several days after her grandmother died.
The Knoxville News Sentinel reports a Maryville Police Department report says the 15-month-old girl was found alive but dehydrated and very hungry on Saturday.

The police report says her grandmother, 58-year-old Anette Ineichen, was found dead in the house. Officials believe she had been dead for some period of time.

Police Chief Tony Crisp says the child was brought to a hospital, where she was treated for dehydration and lack of food. Crisp says the child has been released into the care of the Department of Children's Services.
